Civic Hall, Cayalá, Guatemala
This public edifice serves as a focal point for the new town of Cayalá, which was master planned by urbanist Léon Krier in collaboration with the Guatemalan firm of Estudio Urbano.  The project received a 2013 Palladio Award for commercial, institutional and public work over 30,000 square feet.  The building houses a public hall on the upper level, and shops on the ground floor, opening onto the main commercial street by way of a colonnade.
